It is quite common that badly used email communication complicates our lifes. There ase three typical situations.
Missing information
I know, some information was communicated to the client, but I cannot get it, because somebody did not state my email address in cc.
Too many messages
The second situation is the opposite, I get a lot of unnecessary emails in copy.
Outdated project portal
I need to find an information or get a new team member acquainted with the project, but the project portal is not up to date. And we will end up with the usual “I will send it to you by email”.
